Spellmakers are 4 people with the same goal: to develop fun card and board games for a wide audience. We want to give families and friends a number of unforgettable moments with cool, accessible offline games. 

Ruben and Wannes are 2 friends from Kortrijk. 3 years ago they started developing To The Moon And Back, their first board game. With a rotating game board and plenty of features, they have to admit that they set the bar very high right from the start. Coming up with and designing a game was one thing, marketing and sales another. And that's where they hit a snag..

Pieter and Bart are also 2 friends who spent their youth in Tielt. They enjoy playing board games and regularly have ideas to do 'something'. Corona got Bart thinking and the idea for Schermstrijd-Cardgame sprouted from his mind. With Pieter, he has a good sounding board who immediately pointed out a number of pitfalls and game mechanics. They have an idea and the necessary marketing and sales experience. Only neither of them has the graphic talent to also develop the game. 

Can you feel it coming? 

Where Bart and Pieter fall short, Ruben and Wannes have plenty to spare and vice versa. That's how Spellmakers was born! And we are proud to release our first game Schermstrijd-Cardgame to the world.
